Just spoke with a landlord trying to remove his student housing rental property. As it happens he had listed his apartment or house (I did not ask – should have) on our site and he rented it within 3 days. Now he was getting calls on a property that was no longer available. Of course we helped him “deactivate” his listing immediately as we don’t want students to call on accommodations that are already rented. I have to throw in here, as part of my shameless self promotion, that he did purchase the “Featured Listing” for his property and mentioned that it was “the best $10 her ever spent”. I think he was just trying to be nice but I still appreciate the feedback.
Please let us know your experience on PlaceFinder.com, good or bad. We obviously like positive feedback, but honest criticism or just straight up complaints can help us create an even better site for both students and landlords.
